My trip to Palm Springs
My trip to Palm Springs was absolutely amazing. This was, by far, one of the best moments of my life. The trip starts off with a last minute decision. The day before we leave, we have a family meeting and here I come, dragging my feet, when I here “Where going to California”. I thought it’d be all fun and games, but I was wrong. We were going to drive, out of desperation. This was okay by me, but not preferred. The next morning we leave the house, pick up our friends and head out. By about 10pm my dad begins to get sleepy. He had been driving for about eight straight hours. We could have pulled over and started again in the morning but that would take too long. I, being responsible and mature, offer to drive for a “while”. I start driving and realize that time is passing very slowly, but me being the trooper I am, stick it out for the good. But, before I knew it 8 hours passed, and I was tired. So then my brother took over and started driving at 6:30am. I then passed out. When I came around, we where just arriving.
Now that I’m awake I decide to hop out of the car and into the sun. And into the sun did I go. It was blistering hot. As soon as I stepped into Palm Springs it was like walking into a microwave oven. The heat came from 360 degrees and before I knew it, I was sweating like crazy. My back, feet, chest, legs, all were drenched with sweat. It was so bad someone asked me if I had quickly jumped in the pool. It didn’t take long for me to burn. By day two I was crispy black. I didn’t really like my new complexion but that’s the hand I was dealt.
At this time of year Palm Springs was the place to be. We were defiantly in the right place at the right time. There were loads of people everywhere. Men, women, children, celebrities, good looking teenage gals, everyone was accounted for. There were many people in Palm Springs for many reasons. There happened to be a celebrity golf tournament in town that week. We saw famous people such and Ben Rothlisberger and Tony Gonzalez. There was also a lesbian convention in town, which made it very odd looking at some people. Most of the girls we met were kind and outgoing, which made the whole Palm Springs experience more enjoyable.
The last days of our trip were used to do some sight seeing. We went to an outlet mall in Palm Springs. It was a massive outdoor mall effect with amazing stores. I bought a few pairs of clothes, shoes and other goods. We went to the Flight museum and saw a million and one wind mills. As a whole, even with the driving, the Palm Springs trip was amazing. It was some of the most fun I have had in a long while.

Sounds like you really had a fantastic time! Good writing, just watch when to start new paragraphs, giving us clues when a new thought will be introduced and general proofing of word usage. Where is the picture of your amazing trip?
